Overcoming the significant challenge of providing an online user interface for completing forms returned from third-party agencies/organisations with mandated requirements for static PDF content and forms. Such forms could not be converted to native web forms without a change from an Act of Parliament. Pipefish developed a solution using a client control and application logic to provide a graceful user experience supporting session-save points and form pre-filling.
Delivered outcomes
The DESBT Business Launchpad (or BLP) application. BLP is a simple and intuitive web interface for business owners to answer questions about their type of business and geographic location. Based on their answers the BLP returns all relevant business content in the form of business start-up "Guides".
BLP supports business authentication via myGovID, allows users to organise and track their completion of licences, and includes fillable forms for many previously manual/printable forms.
